Greater Hobart Transport Vision
Through the City Deal, we are working together to deliver an integrated and collaborative approach to transport management and continue to invest in a reliable, sustainable and cost effective transport system with a focus on prioritising active and public transport as well as efficient private car travel.
Key projects under this key focus area include:
- improving southern, eastern and northern access into the city
- exploring the feasibility of a dedicated bus transit centre for passenger interchanges in the Hobart CBD
- adopting smart traffic management solutions
- encouraging the uptake of public and active transport
